A really lovely holiday cottage! The surrounding views are lovely and the location is ideally placed, not too far from the forest of Bowland, with Clitheroe also being close by. The hot tub is great looking out over fields! The host was extremely welcoming with milk, wine and chocolates left for us! The kitchen was so fantastic that we decided to stay in and cook a meal one night too!

We loved our stay at Horseshoe Cottage! It’s in a great location, the host was lovely & had some great recommendations for places to eat locally. The hot tub is lovely with great views even when the weather is not the best. The short walk down to it is fine. We do tend to cook quite often when we’re away so the only thing that would improve this cottage was if the kitchen was a little better equipped - it could do with some new pans and a few more utensils, and the symbols on the oven have rubbed off so a guide to the different settings would be helpful! But this didn’t stop it from being a wonderful stay and we definitely plan to return.

This was our second time staying at Horseshoe Cottage and once again it was absolutely perfect. The family that own it are so friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with a big box of chocolates and a bottle of prosecco, which is always appreciated! The place itself is lovely, has all you could want/need and is very comfortable. The hot tub is fabulous and the views from the tub are just amazing. In short, lovely place with lovely people. Would always recommend!!

Welcoming hosts. Overall the cottage decor was lovely and the facilities in the cottage too - wet room, comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen, clean towels and a smart tv too so Netflix/YouTube/Spotify available. WiFi was good too. Hot tub amazing!! It’s a short walk away but no complaints about that - literally about a 30 second walk. Lovely pubs and villages a short drive away - about 5 minutes. Lovely views from the bedroom and front of the cottage too. Owners dogs and horses were very cute! Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family. Perfect for a few days away.
