Great holiday in fabulous surroundings. Cottage had very nice kitchen and bathroom and very comfortable beds. Only gripe would be that the vacuum cleaner smelled a but doggy and there were a few dog hairs in the sofa (even though people are asked not to let their dogs on the furniture!). Everything else was spotless though - would definitely come back.

Hovera was a great place to escape to in the off-season. Was really clean and tidy and the cottage was nice and cosy when we stepped in. Clear information in the arrival folder and a great layout. Log burner was a joy to have as we had wet weather all week, but that didn't dampen our walking adventures in the hills. The rooms were a great size and the top bedroom had a lovely little seating area to chill in. Bathroom was clean and lovely too. The whole cottage is done out to high standard. Decent internet and a smart TV to watch all the normal things. Kitchen was well kitted out (maybe add a few more glasses) and the utility room a godsend when getting out of wet kit and drying wet doggy! Will be booking again when we can.

A delightful, cosy cottage. Very clean and well equipped and in an amazing location. Will definitely be back to stay again.

Very cosy, comfortable cottage with everything you would want for a home from home. The master bedroom is simply stunning, amazing views.

We stayed from Boxing day across the New Year and had one of the best New Years of our lives. Lovely, well presented and equiped cottage with a fantastic location. Couldnt ask for more.

This cottage is beautiful, the pictures and description really don’t give you the beauty of it. Very comfortable and finished to a high standard of furnishings,

What a great cottage. It has been finished to a high standard and feels like home and not a rental place where most stuff has been done on the cheap. The heating worked fine and was cozy all week. Great views from the main bedroom (huge room). It has hardly any garden and would not get the afternoon sun in the summer, but we stayed in November,so no probs. Loads of walks/wainwrights right on your doorstep,so can leave the car for most of the week. Would love to book it again for May,but seems to be fully booked already ! so that says how good it is.

An excellent, well-equipped and comfortable cottage with superb views across Birkhouse Moor -could easily live here.

fantastic location although local pub was very poor. Much better to sit on the lovely sun trapped patio. Could do with a few more glasses but apart from that a fabulously well stocked kitchen. Would defiantly return had a fabulous time.

Great cottage for the two of us plus dog. Paying extra for the dog then to be told there should be no trace of him on leaving seems a bit off. Could benefit from a coffee machine but overall a lovely holiday.

Great position and all high end fittings.

Superb cottage in a beautiful setting. The cottage was furnished to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again.

The cottage was beautiful - the best we have stayed in for facilities a real home from home, we felt so comfortable as soon as we arrived. The location was also one of the best for views and walks - definitely not for those with mobility difficulties though. Glenridding had some nice places to eat and despite it raining constantly all week we managed to get in some good walks. We found the only issue to be the hardness of the beds mainly in the twin room but that might just be preference as we are used to soft beds. Highly recommend Hovera.

Beautifully presented cottage. Lots of little additions like blankets for the dog. Great location for Helvellyn and other walks. Would definitely recommend it.
