Lovely cottage with fantastic views. The cottage is a good size and comfortable. We were a party of 2 adults and 2 under 5 plus a dog. We received exhaustive information prior to arriving. I've rarely rented a place where the owner seemed so well organised.
In the cottage you have everything you need, such as towels for the dog near the entrance and exit to garden. Lovely walks around the cottage. It's actually really well located to see many places such as Carnarvon, Porthmadog, Snowdonia, etc.
The only thing is that you need a car as there is not much close by, that being said you have plenty around that is accessible quickly by car (pubs, cafés, shops). I'd recommend stopping at Pont Du they have wonderful apple juice and cider and a nice little café.
It is our 4th time in North Wales and first time at Isallt, but I think it will not be the last. Would definitely recommend.
This is a fantastic base for exploring the area. Beautiful, peaceful, well maintained. There was a great info pack with loads of great walk ideas and the welcome snacks were delicious. Really enjoyed our time in North Wales. I would definitely go back again and stay here.

Beautifully situated in a very rural corner of the Snowdonia National Park but close to Caernarfon and the Rhyd Ddu ascent to Mount Snowdon.
The house is small but comfy and you can enjoy a beautiful view from the rear bed room (and a view on some sheep from the front). If the weather is warm you can sit in the garden and enjoy a meal.
Although neighbour's houses are close we hardly saw anybody.
It is recommended if you enjoy a quite and rural holiday but want to have some other houses near you.
A lovely comfortable and cosy cottage in a spectacular location. The owners could not have been more helpful with the information and communication provided before the stay. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. A great holiday!
It’s a very cosy in a cottage with beautiful walks on the doorstep. You should go!
Really nice traditional two up two down cottage with a decent size bathroom and a small but completely adequate kitchen. Great log burner. Beautiful location with stunning views. lovely welcome pack and excellent cottage information. Really practical for dogs. Had a great short stay.
Fantastic cottage and lovely owners who really care. Beds are soooooo comfy!!! Location was ideal- beautiful and quiet but still able to easily drive to places. We can’t wait to come back soon.
Amazing stay at this beautiful little cottage. The owners were lovely and the cottage and location were perfect. We didn’t want to leave!
Lovely cottage so dog friendly beautiful surroundings although a bit of a drive to a local shop but would definately stay again ?
We really enjoyed our stay at Isallt. It was very comfortable with everything we needed. The surrounding area is beautiful and recommend the Cwellyn Arms for good pub food. You do need to use your car but there are plenty of things to do within a short drive.
