An absolutely superb cottage. It is very unexpectedly spacious with a lovely enclosed garden. It is well equipped and clean. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. There are some low doorways leading to a quirky staircase which is a little tricky but we managed to get used to it during our stay. The bedrooms are lovely as is the bathroom. The whole cottage is a credit to its' owners as it has little personal touches added which is a bonus. It is in a picturesque location, ideal if you love walking and have a dog. The cottage is adjoining a Pub which is very friendly and does wholesome meals so if you don't want to cook it's very handy. We would certainly recommend and hope to return.

Our second visit to this lovely cottage and we will be back again next year, the cottage is spacious, extremely well equipped and has a safe, nice sized garden. The pub next door is such a bonus too, with great food and very friendly staff. The local area is beautiful, so much to see and do no matter what the weather. This is my personal favourite place to stay.

This is the third year we have been to the cottage and already booked for next year. Next door is the jug and glass pub, you can take your dogs in and excellent food. Would recommend this cottage . The photo is of the cenotaph and river right outside the cottage.
