We had an enjoyable stay , good to use as a base to discover Cornwall
The owners were great nothing was to much trouble and made us feel very welcome
It was a very quiet and relaxing holiday. Ideal base for traveling. The owners were welcoming and on hand for help if needed. The garden was big enough for our 2 standard Poodles to use. It also got the sun later in the day which would have been lovely to sit in during the evening (if it hadn’t rained for much of our time there?) Praa Sands beach is well used by surfers but didn’t see anyone swimming so no idea if safe for children. However, as many other beaches were a short distance away this wouldn’t be an obvious disadvantage. I would go back to Kataluma again

Has everything you need, comfortable and in a central, but quiet location. Two bathrooms is a great plus. An enjoyable stay.
It was very nice quite small which we knew about but not a lot of storage ie wardrobes and more kitchen equipment

An excellent base for touring West Cornwall
Kataluma ticked all of our boxes for our family. 2 adults, 2 children (3yr + 1yr) and 2 Dogs.
It was clean and tidy on arrival and had all the vital essentials, previous holiday makers obviously didn't ask the owners for things they felt the cottage missed as they were very accommodating. The locals were very friendly and offered advise on local attractions, where to visit and where not to. The location was ideal for exploring Cornwall, in a very rural, quiet location, rolling fields perfect for dog walks and exploring with the little ones. We joined the National Trust and explored a lot of the dog friendly walks and parks locally. We loved the bifold doors was lovely to have lunch with the doors open.

Lovely cottage but not easy to find as it isnt opposite the village hall, its literaly in its garden! Would be difficult to stay there without a car as was quite remote. A few noise problems from loud neighbours. Very comfy beds though and showers were lovely.
Smaller than we thought looked a lot larger in the photo.
Nice place gets very dusty every day.
Location bit far out if the way had to drive every day over 1000 miles in 2 weeks.
Think it's a bit over priced but would stay again
