Great location. Close to many fascinating archaeological sites and lovely places to visit. The entrance hall was a bit dark and could have done with being painted a lighter colour and not left the original dark brown. The kitchen and bathroom were somewhat challenging in terms of space. Not a problem as there were only two of us but four would have been interesting. However the cottage was cosy and its shortcomings were more than made up for by the location.

Nice cottage and good value at the price we paid. Let down by lack of WiFi, telephone, basic tv only and lack of general instructions although lots of leaflets. The location was good for us and the cottage was comfortable. We enjoyed our holiday.

Lovely, clean cottage but too remote for me the no wifi and no phone network didn't help the feeling of being cut off....lovely garden and the horses were lovely, enjoyed sitting in the back garden in the morning with a coffee taking in the peace an beauty, but at night it seem a tad eerie
