We had a fantastic time lovely location. Excellent amenities catered for all our needs would definitely come again

The cottage was lovely, in spite of the storm we had! Very quiet location, nearest supermarket was Booths which was approx 18 mins drive. There were 5 of us for three nights and the cottage only provided 1.5 loo rolls, so we did need to go out for supplies, same with dishwasher tablets. Also I think extra towels would have been a nice extra, again given the three night stay, although there is a washing machine so you could take your own washing powder (I personally wouldn’t want to start washing on a mini break!) Hot tub was great, and secluded in terms of other lodges not overlooking, which was a bonus. All in all I would return, most likely spring/summer when you could make the most of the outdoor space

Holiday good disappointed that booking agent didn't inform us of extra charges at the time of booking would not use this agent again but would go back booking direct with owners

Great location but you need to take remember everything with you - no coffee/tea or milk left and only 1 toilet roll. Long way to go to get additional supplies !

Fantastic will definitely be going back.

Great break away from the madding crowds... Sadly not a walk away from Coniston itself, but beautiful! The private hottub was a real treat!!

We’ve just returned from 3 nights at Lake Bank Lodge. The lodge was cosy & clean. It had everything provided that we needed. We loved it that much that we’ve booked again next year. The lodge is really modern and local for Coniston and walks. We loved that it’s open plan so the 6 of us were always together. Perfect weekend.

An absolutely gorgeous lodge in a beautiful and peaceful location. We had an amazing week (fantastic weather helped!). The lodge was perfect for the 4 of us (2 children, 2 adults). We could not fault anything, the lodge was clean, well equipped, warm, perfect! The hot tub was lovely too, amazing views and relaxing, just make sure you take some flipflops etc for the stones. There are lots of walks you can do from the lodge, we loved exploring the big hill behind and looking at the views over the lake. Easy access to all local towns etc. The roads are very dark and no footpaths for a few miles so don't expect to be able to walk anywhere at night. Overall fantastic lodge and we will definitely go back.

Great lodge in a good location for exploring the Lakes. Hot-tub was the icing on the cake. Hope to return soon.

We had a lovely break at the cottage for the first time as a 3 with our little boy. The location is lovely and the owners were extremely helpful with questions we had before we visited. I would say I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the cottage and felt that some things took the edge of the luxury feel of the cottage. The floor wasn’t particularly clean (probably notice this more with clambering around the floor with a 5month old!) and things like the sofa need a good wipe down. Also there were marks on my pillowcase on the bedding which wasn't great. Also felt that some of the appliances could do with some maintenance like the dishwasher water spinner being fixed and the metal shelves in the en suite are a little rusty. It’s a shame because it really is a lovely lodge!! Views from the cottage are fab and the hot tub is lovely. These are by no means complaints, just observations for making the stay that even more enjoyable!

This was our second stay here and we absolutely love the place. Can’t wait to come back again!

Lodge was great very comfortable and relaxing although it is starting to need freshened up (walls marked and laminate flooring done in places) The Jacuzzi could also do with a net as the flies just become a complete pest when trying to relax
