Lodge was great very comfortable and relaxing although it is starting to need freshened up (walls marked and laminate flooring done in places) The Jacuzzi could also do with a net as the flies just become a complete pest when trying to relax

The lodge was in a great location for travelling round the lakes. The photos don’t do it justice, the hot tub was great fun and always hot.

Fridge did not seem to be cooling properly but otherwise everything was of a very good standard, comfortable clean and well equipped kitchen. The location was beautiful and allowed easy access to a lot of lovely walks and outdoor family activities whilst remaining in a quiet and peaceful area of the lakes. The hot tub could be made a bit most private with planting more hedges/greenery. Would recommend.

Beautiful lodge in a stunning location, area is very quiet, if you want some peace and tranquility this is the place. The hot tub was well used and definitely worth the extra money. Slight problem with the bedding, one wasn’t made up due to the cottage company writing the number of adults down wrong, problem resolved within 10 minutes and they were there with extra sheets and towels. We will definitely be back for the Coniston 14 road race next year and looking to stay here again. Heating and hot water plentiful.

Lovely lodge in beautiful surroundings. The lodge was well set out with everything you would need for your holiday. It was clean, bright and airy. Even though it was very cold outside the lodge was lovely and warm and the log burner was very efficient. The only issue I would have is that the mattress on the double bed needs upgrading. This wasn’t an issue for us but access to the lodge would be very difficult for people with mobility issues.

The Hot tub was unusable for one night and the heating and hot water died on the third night. Not Good. The proprietor will be well aware of this situation given that the heating and water was not working at end of service. However, there has been no contact at all. So, it appears that this is the way the services are generally provided -or not. Thank you for your interest.
