Lake View is a contemporary two bedroomed apartment which is ideal for couples or small families wanting to explore the central and southern lakes. With an allocated parking space you can enjoy all of this popular tourist town’s shops bars cafés and restaurants without having to negotiate town centre traffic and parking charges. There is a comfortable living room with comfy seating and dining for four a compact but well-equipped kitchen two nicely presented bedrooms and a family bathroom. The apartment is equipped with 40 Smart TV DVD player and Wi-Fi ensuring that guests can relax and be entertained at the end of the day’s activities. Both the kitchen and living room enjoy views of Lake Windermere which is within a 5-10 minute walk. Here you can take part in various water sports or for the less energetic why not take a relaxing cruise.\nWhilst there is plenty in Bowness to keep everyone entertained fed and watered there is of course lots to see and do outside of the town and the apartment makes a great base from which to explore. Other Cumbrian towns worth visiting within easy access include Ambleside Kendal Hawkshead Cartmel and Ulverston. Families with children will enjoy a visit to the World of Beatrix Potter South Lakes Zoo the Lakeland Aquarium Motor Museum and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway where you can take a ride on a steam train. Grizedale Forest also makes a great day out with plenty of trails mountain biking Segways and the Go Ape treetop adventure. There are plenty of events and festivals held throughout the year which together with the stunning scenery and great walking opportunities make this the perfect year round destination.     Our third stay in this flat so that says it all. Very convenient location in the centre of Bowness. Five minute walk down to the lake and countless bars and restaurants all within easy reach. It has its own parking space just round the back of the flats and has great views of the lake over the rooftops. It’s up two flights of stairs and next to a busy main road so might not be suitable for all but we weren’t bothered by any road noise and the stairs weren’t a problem.

    We had a great weekend at Lake View, the flat is perfect for two adults and young children. We loved being able to see the boats and the location in Bowness is great, near plenty of shops and things to do. Overall the flat was very clean and everything you could possibly need is provided, we will definitely be back next year

    Clean, comfortable, well equipped and in an excellent position for restaurants, bars, cinema and the theatre. The parking space enabled us to leave the car and walk from the door. Highly recommended.

    Directions were perfect and just a short walk and 42 steps from car to front door. Although the flat faced the main road it wasn’t noisy apart from the occasional vehicle going over a metal access cover in the road. Really handy for lots of eating places and the cinema. A real bonus was the Co-op so close for fresh croissants in the morning. It was well equipped though the internet access was slow so I was unable to stream a football match on BT Sport. The OS map on the wall was a great feature, useful for planning during meal times. The flat appeared to have been recently renovated including the kitchen and bathroom. Furniture was virtually new and of good quality. We didn’t need to store much food, which is probably a good thing as there is limited cupboard space in the kitchen. The small freezer was handy.

    Bright, modern, clean apartment in an excellent, central location. Fulfilled our expectations. Only downside is a bit of a walk from car to apartment but only an issue with loading and unloading at either end of stay. Good to have parking space, but would be a bit of a squeeze for a large car. Two flights of stairs up to the apartment. Would recommend Trattoria underneath the apartment, the cinema a couple of minutes walk away and the 599 bus which stops a minute away.

    Brilliant flat in a great location, couldn't fault it. Very clean and homely with views of lake Windermere. Owners have thought of everything you may need, towels were provided too which was a bonus. And there is a parking space!! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. We would highly recommend.

    Lovely apartment, very clean with everything we needed. The weather wasn't very good during our stay, but plenty to do nearby, we managed a boat trip in between showers, visited the aquarium, steam train, Beatrix Potter museum and cinema. Lots of lovely places to eat nearby. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend Lake View. Carol Luck Northallerton
