    The cottage was ok but we did not know that there was a public footpath running through the garden; so when we were using the garden for games, BBQs etc it was very strange having people walking through. The cottage was fairly clean but not as clean as I would have liked. The large white wall in the bathroom was very dusty and the silver towel heater was filthy. The kitchen did not have enough cupboard space for our food delivery so it had to be left out which not only made it look untidy but took a lot of the worktop space making it difficult to cook/prepare food. The garden and views were great and it was a very peaceful holiday and the owners were nice but I don't think is was big enough for 6 adults, 8 children and a dog.

    Wonderful well equipped cottage with a fantastic garden. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Definitely need transport to get about although local shops are within walking distance but it is quite a steep hill, overall a wonderful and peaceful place to stay

    This cottage needs a deep clean. Not all surfaces were dusted and skirting boards were extremely dusty and grimy. Cushions and coverings on the furniture were covered in dog hairs and vacuuming didn't help as it just made the smell of dogs worse. Seating 7 around the dining table was just possible but only because two people were young children. Perhaps more cups and mugs could be put in the cottage. Don't know if the owners are aware that there are slugs wandering round all the downstairs rooms including the bedroom. Having said all that the gardens were beautiful and well tended.

    The cottage is in a superb location. Quiet but not isolated. The accommodation was spacious, seven people and two dogs, cosy, clean and extremely well equipped. The owners parents are next door and could not have been more helpful, but let us get on with our holiday. The garden was enjoyed by both humans and dogs. We would all love to return.
