Come and discover Llain cottage, perfect for couples or a romantic getaway this truly beautiful cottage has been lovingly renovated to a very high standard throughout in 2021 and offers the perfect base to see this delightful area. Llain cottage is nestled within the grounds of owner’s home along a private track and surrounded by countryside and woodlands and around 5 minutes from the hamlet of Cross Inn where the village shop is and a similar distance to the coastal resort of New Quay. At the end of the lane discover the honey farm and enjoy a tour.
There are lovely sandy beaches just a few minutes’ drive away. The picture postcard town of New Quay sits above the glistening Cardigan Bay, and there is a variety of eateries and pubs, along with individual seaside shops. Take a stroll along the harbour and try to spot the resident pods of bottle nosed dolphins that can be seen almost daily.
This all on one level cottage has an open plan kitchen, dining and living room and offers a bright and airy space with French doors flooding the room with light and leading out to the enclosed garden which is perfect to enjoy dining al fresco with a barbecue or relaxing with a glass of wine after a busy day exploring, the elegant master suite has been crafted to offer a great night’s sleep with comfort and style in mind and boasting a spacious walk-in en-suite shower room has been finished to an excellent standard.
There are many interesting and beautiful places to visit including the colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, just 15 minutes away by car, and the university town of Aberystwyth, with its long promenade and pier, cliff railway, camera obscura and Vale of Rheidol steam railway to Devil’s Bridge. Walkers, cyclists, wildlife enthusiasts, or those who prefer more extreme sports are well catered for, and you can literally lose yourself in the wild undisturbed landscape of hills, mountains, and forests. There are 60 miles of coastal path, and even walking a small section of it is a fantastic way of seeing this beautiful part of west Wales.
