They press their own apple juice which can even be supplied with homemade bread, preserves, cakes and fresh eggs upon request (charges apply).
The extensive grounds which have a shallow stream trickling through make a lovely space to stretch your legs or simply relax and spend time with the chickens. The immediate are is very popular with outdoor enthusiasts and one of Julia Bradbury’s top 100 walks ‘the Sandstone Trail’ can be picked up in neighbouring Duckington.
Tilston village is just 1 mile down the road and home to a local playground, a food serving pub and a beautifully quaint village shop. The thriving village of Malpas with its bustling high street is a mere 5 minute drive, and a 10-minute drive will take you to nearby Carden Park luxury country estate, which has spa and leisure facilities together with two championship golf courses.
