The cottage was lovely just could have done with an area/field to take the dogs for a quick walk on the farm that did not involve going past lots of livestock, equipment and people in caravans or access to a walk from the farm. Also dogs on the farm or nearby barked a lot during the night which then set ours off!

Had a lovely winter break in this clean cosy cottage. There was excellent storage and everything you could need in the kitchen. Location was great for walks and shopping with a duo train ticket into Manchester return for us both £9.40 which is a bargain. The cottage is on farm but not noisy at all from machines etc. We struggled with the very simple task of turning the tv on and the owner was so lovely and pop round straight away, which was really nice knowing someone was there if need be, but certainly not intrusive. Would definitely recommend the cottage and can't wait to return.

The cottage was lovely but unfortunately it was on a busy main road and was noisy. There was also a guard dog which barked quite a lot at night and I think it may have been on a flight path for the local airpirt. Although the cottage was very comfortable its nearness to the road spoiled it as we couldn't walk from the farm as there were no pavements.
