On the first floor you’ll find the master bedroom with double bed, plenty of storage and pleasant views. The bathroom comes with a bath and shower, there’s also a quiet snug which is ideal to relax and read. On the ground floor, you have an open plan living and dining room with comfortable sofas, open fire, easy seating and Smart TV, ideal for a cosy night in by the fire after a day of adventure. The compact kitchen is well-equipped and leads to the rear garden with outdoor seating. There’s also a small outbuilding with washing machine.
Gosforth is a very popular village thanks to the number of amenities, people come to Gosforth from all around to sample the excellent coffee shop and local delicacies. The pubs serve local ales and great food. It’s in The Western Lakes, just on the fringe of the National Park and just 3 miles from the Cumbrian Coast. It’s arguably one of the most unspoilt areas of the National Park with several small villages, towns and hamlets nearby, most with pubs, café’s, shops and excellent amenities. Nearby you’ll find several great days out and tourist attractions including Muncaster Castle, fun for all the family, ride the La’al Ratty on The Ravenglass and Eskdale railway. And of course, great walks around lakes, fells and a beach and sand dunes at nearby Drigg, 3 miles. It’s perfect for walking, cycling, sightseeing and exploring, and Mill Cottage is a great place to start. Beach 3 miles. Pub and restaurant 50 yards.
