So convenient...never had to use the car. A pleasant stroll along the mill stream to the town centre. Very picturesque location, and the cottage is so well equipped. 10 out of 10.

Excellent cottage close to town but is on the main A6 so lots of traffic noise. Otherwise perfect cottage for two. My husband did have a problem with the low ceiling in the bathroom but whole cottage has high spec and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The peak district is utterly gorgeous. The cottage was charmingly decorated and cosy. Conveniently located for all the sights and services of the Peaks and within a few miles of some really nice foodie pubs. If you like being in a town, it's perfect. I found the traffic noise kept me from sleeping well in the lovely bed but am a country girl to the core! Also, had to park on Castle Street a few times when there wasn't a space behind the cottage.
