The house is in a great location although it was a bit of a surprise to find the house next door was quite so close. This is not clear in the information given. Also, the road down to the property is quite a challenge, due to its uneven surface. Again, this is not made clear. However, the house was adequately furnished and equipped for a week's stay and is a very good base for some great walks.

Lovely cottage, excellent views and scenery around. Peaceful, quite and very remote. Everything what you need is inside and more. Wine and milk in the fridge as welcome gifts. Every essential things are available. Next door house is near but no disturbance from them at all. The field next to it is excellent for dogs under supervision because sheep are everywhere and even in the cottage yard. Had an excellent time, will definitely return and will recommend it as well.

Fabulous, well equipped, stunning views. Driveway would be tricky in bad weather but not a problem during the summer. Loved the little lambs and rabbits right on the doorstep. Low fencing, so if taking doggie, need to be well trained! Lovely, friendly owner. There is a house right next to bungalow but not a problem!

Beautiful views of hills and sheep. Cottage lovely and warm when we arrived on a cold and wet day. Kitchen was well equipped. Soft towels would have been nice but a great cosy place to stay with lots of places to visit in driving distance.

Lovely cosy and comfortable bungalow with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Far enough off the main road to be quiet and secluded. Great base to explore the area. Lots to see and do, and dog paradise!

Fantastic place. The owner went overboard with flowers and bubbly when she learned we were on our honeymoon. Beautiful location, Very well equipped, comfortable, snug, warm and v v great location. There are no local amenities but we walked over the hills to the fantastic Flash store/cafe and the Knights Table pub. Cannot praise either enough despite the horizontal rain lol. We had a fabulous honeymoon in a fantastic away from it all location in the middle of England. Views to die for, nothing but hills for miles. Jaw dropping slopes, sheep everywhere and they are cheeky, they knocked down a fence to get into the garden. Access is narrow but we have a 2 wheel drive large car and we got there. Flash village is highest in England so the weather can be different to Buxton nearby. We loved the place and hope to one day return. The Owner went out of her way to make our stay special.

The cottage was great, had everything you could want, the views are amazing, the location is great for walking , visiting places etc , however we were very surprised to find another property right next door - in fairness they were friendly but if you like peace and tranquillity to appreciate the view and wildlife this can be disturbed by the 2 boys playing , shouting to you ,playing football etc. This doesn’t mean we wouldn’t recommended this property,it is very rural, well fitted out ,cosy ,the owner very helpful and is dog friendly

Absolutely perfect location for a secluded relaxing break. Only the owners house is nearby but they never bothered us at all; they just let us arrive and keep to ourselves. The views are amazing and you are very close to places such as Buxton or Bakewell. Only downsides are the track leading to the property; near the top of the track i kept grounding my car, and i imagine it can be a bad in a winter with ice or snow. The bungalow could do with a bit of a deep clean as well. The garden is not secure enough for a dog who needs to be on a lead in public. Overall though a pleasent stay in a very quiet area, which is just what we wanted.
