The open plan living space is superbly proportioned, with a large dining room table, super-comfy sofa to sink into and Smart TV for your entertainment. The kitchen has a wide range of equipment and provides the perfect spot to prepare any meal you wish. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one with a double bed and eye-catching décor, the other boasting twin beds within a tranquil setting. You will find a useful shower room, too.
Venture upstairs and the first floor reveals a further two bedrooms with a sumptuous kingside bed in one along with a twin room, wonderfully presented and ready to provide a peaceful night’s rest. A further family bathroom with bath and shower over gives you the choice of a luxurious soak after a day of adventures. There is an outside area with picnic bench-style seating, so a morning coffee, a little al fresco dining or sundowner can be enjoyed. The village itself offers a great range of facilities, from a popular bar and restaurant, to indoor and outdoor pools along with a gym.
Away from the village, you are in a superb location for exploring Cornwall, whilst the Devon border is also close by. Stunning countryside walks await you along with pretty towns and villages, with character and charm at every turn. The beautiful Dartmoor National Park has rolling hills and breath-taking views, whilst the scenic Tamar Valley provides an abundance of woodland and dramatic views.
Ancient Bodmin Moor lies to the west, atmospheric and mysterious, with fascinating rock formations and rising Tors, whilst the historic naval city of Plymouth has marinas, restaurants and pubs in addition to a huge range of shops and striking architecture.
For those who enjoy the coast, the beaches at Seaton and Downderry are a joy, whilst the harbour towns of Looe, Polperro and Fowey are steeped in history, including long ago smuggling and wrecking, and their narrow streets, cafés and restaurants are well worth discovering.
