Neighbouring the owner’s farm, Piggyback Barns are situated in the peaceful village of Sculthorpe, just 8 miles from the Norfolk coastline with its wealth of sandy beaches, and RSPB bird and nature reserves. Excellent walking and cycling can be enjoyed from the doorstep. Fakenham, 2 miles, offers good shops, restaurants, inns, a bowling alley, cinema and golf course. Bustling Burnham Market, with village shops, inns and restaurants, is 7 miles away. Wells-next-the-Sea, 8 miles, offers an excellent sandy beach with colourful beach huts, a small shopping town centre with many inns and restaurants, and a picturesque fishing harbour - popular for fresh shell fish. Further along the coast is Brancaster for an uncrowded sandy beach and golf course. Brancaster Staithe provides a popular venue for sailing and boating enthusiasts. The traditional seaside towns of Heacham and Hunstanton offer an array of activities for all ages. Many places of historical interest and stately homes are within surrounding area. Twenty minutes’ drive away is the historical town of Kings Lynn for shopping, market place, restaurants, inns and theatre, and also Norwich city for excellent shopping, castle museum, cathedral, theatre, market place, restaurants and inns. The Barn is well appointed, warm and comfortable.
There are no walks (circular, preferably) nearby, so always had to take the car.
Also, description said local pub was a short walk away, but in reality the walk was on a busy winding road, so not suitable or safe for walking.

We had a lovely stay over Christmas with the family. The Barn is really spacious and catered for all our needs. It was really handy to have an ensuite for each bedroom, the rooms were a lovely size and the kitchen was ample to cook for a large family with a large double oven and an American style fridge freezer. There were a few snagging issues, but I will raise these with the owner. Overal excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely lovely place to stay, fantastic peaceful location. Only downside was some of the machines in the games room required money which we couldn't find detailed in any information about the property.

Stayed there 4 years ago hence happy to return, Gardens even better than lst time.
Ideal location for towns and facilities plus excellent walking areas - 3 did 3 walks whilst there - great to have the sea nearby.
We're returned home full of Norfolk crab,asparagus and strawberries plus fish & chips at No 1 Cromer owned by chef Galton Blackiston

Really enjoyed our stay although the sliding toilet seats took a bit of getting used to. Plenty of room for our party of 12. Would definitely stay again.
