Great location if you like quiet with a 25 minute walk to the pub. Very clean and well presented with a great secluded garden. Loved the 4 poster and the cosy interior. Little kitchen has everything you might need. If you are going to stay in don't forget to take a bottle of wine and a DVD. There is little to no phone signal here and no WIFI. it was nice if not very strange to be totally off the grid for a couple of days. WIFI available at the pub if you get too desperate.

Positives: A really nice set up and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Very luxurious. Negatives: the fridge freezer wasn’t turned on when arrived meaning our shopping defrosted. Also on arrival we were greeted by a hornet flying around which granted may be difficult to stop but not the start we expected! We also were only given 1.5 loo rolls so ran out towards the end of our week!

Excellent little cottage, very minor things could of been a little clearer with rubbish sorting instructions ie labelling bins i would also suggest it would be good to have a quick guide showing things to look at close by ie pubs and great wood. this is nit picking though!

Had a fantastic long weekend, lovely cottage, garden and hot tub! Location is a bit out of the way, however it is also a bonus for a weekend! Local amenities were adequate, a pub serving food and a minimart 1.5 miles away. Anything more meant a longer journey. Couldn't fault the cottage and the owner was lovely when we spoke one morning. We will definitely go back again!

Loved some aspects of this cottage - clean, comfy bed, hot tub gorgeous, garden complete with stunning sunsets and beautiful birdlife - but was underwhelmed by kitchen equipment... on the one hand, the remoteness was welcomed (no phone signal, pubs & shops a fair walk away...) but some might find it a bit too much. Overall very relaxing though. Gloria very welcoming on arrival, but it was a romantic break and we appreciated being left to it! Would recommend

Stayed for a long weekend in Feb. Didn't see anyone during our stay, really felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. The owner messaged once the cottage was ready along with safe key code and left us to it. Very enjoyable and relaxing weekend!

Me and my partner stayed here over Christmas and everything about this lovely cottage is perfect, the place was well kept and clean and the facilities were great. The only downfall was the host, after phoning the lady a couple of days before our trip explaining to her what time we were going to be there, there was no communication when we arrived in order for us to enter the property (luckily, who I assume was the ladies son was nearby to let us in) the lady then text me 4 hours after we had arrived telling me "The cottage was ready" and gave us the code for the key-safe, slightly late! Also bare in mind she had not given me a checkout time, in the middle of us making breakfast in the lovely kitchen she comes knocking on the door tapping her wrist telling us we had 10 minutes to pack up and leave! All in all with that aside the cottage itself is a gorgeous place with everything you need for a relaxing retreat.

Had a wonderful three night stay with my husband. Very clean, decor and furnishings to a very high standard. Met the owner when we arrived as we were unsure where to park, she is a very lovely, friendly lady. Would definitely stay again, probably in the Summer as the garden and hot tub were great. Only one small downside in that there is no phone signal in the cottage and no wifi. However, it made for a really relaxing stay (once I go over the shock of not being on the grid!) - in fact, I'm glad it didn't. Would recommend this beautiful cottage to everyone.

Fantastic cottage, fantastic location for what we needed, Hot tub was a great plus. Only minor downsides: got there and was expected to clean the bathroom etc. after ourselves with out knowing this beforehand and with minimal cleaning materials provided, slightly more drying space for wet hiking kit would have topped off this stay. Had a fantastic stay - would consider returning in the future.

We spent 4 nights at the cottage and loved every minute of it! We loved the seclusion and the peacefulness, ideal for winding down and relaxing. There are so many lovely places to go to in the surrounding area too. We will definitely be staying there again😀.
