Me and my partner stayed here over Christmas and everything about this lovely cottage is perfect, the place was well kept and clean and the facilities were great. The only downfall was the host, after phoning the lady a couple of days before our trip explaining to her what time we were going to be there, there was no communication when we arrived in order for us to enter the property (luckily, who I assume was the ladies son was nearby to let us in) the lady then text me 4 hours after we had arrived telling me "The cottage was ready" and gave us the code for the key-safe, slightly late! Also bare in mind she had not given me a checkout time, in the middle of us making breakfast in the lovely kitchen she comes knocking on the door tapping her wrist telling us we had 10 minutes to pack up and leave! All in all with that aside the cottage itself is a gorgeous place with everything you need for a relaxing retreat.

Had a wonderful three night stay with my husband. Very clean, decor and furnishings to a very high standard. Met the owner when we arrived as we were unsure where to park, she is a very lovely, friendly lady. Would definitely stay again, probably in the Summer as the garden and hot tub were great. Only one small downside in that there is no phone signal in the cottage and no wifi. However, it made for a really relaxing stay (once I go over the shock of not being on the grid!) - in fact, I'm glad it didn't. Would recommend this beautiful cottage to everyone.

Fantastic cottage, fantastic location for what we needed, Hot tub was a great plus. Only minor downsides: got there and was expected to clean the bathroom etc. after ourselves with out knowing this beforehand and with minimal cleaning materials provided, slightly more drying space for wet hiking kit would have topped off this stay. Had a fantastic stay - would consider returning in the future.

We spent 4 nights at the cottage and loved every minute of it! We loved the seclusion and the peacefulness, ideal for winding down and relaxing. There are so many lovely places to go to in the surrounding area too. We will definitely be staying there again😀.

Amazing holiday. Came here for a girls holiday and mostly the hot tub. The cottage was lovely and the hot tub was amazing. Very clean has everything that we needed. Tv had most normal channels and DVD player. There is shampoo and conditioner supplied. Only down side is that there was no signal unless you went to the top of the garden and mosquitoes due to being in the country so I would advise taking a bug replant (we got bitten alive). The owner was lovely and left us to it for the few days we were there and was very approachable. You will need to drive to locations but there are lovely walks and amazing views near by!

We had a lovely little holiday at the cottage. It was perfect just for a little relaxing getaway, and the beautiful garden and hot tub were perfect for winding down at the end of a busy day out. We would definitely go and stay again.

Fantastic cottage, not a great location also not great you had to spring clean before you leave. No WiFi was a problem and as there are no local shops little touches like milk would be nice. Also some information about the nearest shop, restaurant etc would be nice. As we couldn’t google without WiFi.

Well equipped and tastefully decorated. We would have preferred a bedroom separate from the living/dining area but as the weather was good this wasn't as inconvenient as it might otherwise have been.

Very nice place to stay with a very private hot tub and garden, TV was a little old with a less than perfect remote... shame as everything else was very nice. Pictogram for recycling as brown bin, green bin, food bin, pedal bin... first two are not standard around England!!!

The property is in a beautiful, tranquil location and the garden is completely private. The barn is very tastefully furnished, the bed extremely comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the shower was superb. The hot tub was great at dusk, when it became a little cooler, but we were also fortunate enough to be able to dine in the garden on a couple of occasions, moving the garden furniture to a corner that retained the evening sun. We couldn’t fault the property and hope we’ll have the opportunity to return at some point.
