This is a great cottage but it’s not for the disabled. Very comfy beds, plenty of equipment and very nicely located

Nicely presented cottage with everything we needed for a weekend break. Close enough by car to both the coast and local visitor attractions as well as the A1. Only real downside is that if you do not want to go out in the car there is nothing really immediately around to walk to or sit and look at. The pub that is adjacent is not open now.

A lovely cottage, perfect size for my family ( couple, teenager and toddler) and our 2 dalmatians, lovely garden and only 10 mins by car to the beach. It was a shame the pub next door wasn’t open but didn’t detract from our stay. I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arose

The cottage could have been lovely. It is a nice size and good layout with a lovely garden. However, it was dirty. Dust was in every corner and it smelt horrendously of damp. I had to wash all my (unworn) clothes are anything in the wardrobes was left smelling when I got home. The sofa in the living area is not comfortable and the bedroom mattresses are appalling. There was no cushions for what would have been a loving sitting area outside.

The front room was very small and the settee wasn’t very comfortable. Bedroom was a nice size and the bed was comfy. But was the smell of damp in the front room and bedroom, even when I put the heating on or opened the windows. All our clothes smelt of damp by the time we went home.

The cottage photographed well (the quality of what was there, decor & en-suites was disappointing, garden in need of some TLC) and was good for the dog but it felt like we were in staff accommodation rather than a holiday home. Feels a bit tired and neglected and wasn't in a good spot for walks particularly and no amenities in walking distance.

Was a very comfortable stay. Good location, equipped for our needs, good beds and a good springboard for visiting the surrounding area. We had need to contact Helen and she was very helpful and welcoming. It's a thumbs up from us!
