The nearby town of Crieff, 6 miles, has a supermarket. Comrie has a busy calendar of events throughout the year from the Flambeau at Hogmanay (a traditional and spectacular torch lit procession) to the Comrie Fortnight in July. Local walking and cycling tracks abound and a 9-hole golf course is on the doorstep, whilst the famous Gleneagles Championship courses are only a 20-minute drive away. Watersports are available at St Fillans. Fishing is permissible from the garden and can be arranged elsewhere on the River Earn.

Wonderful location for this clean, comfortable cottage with the best equipped kitchen we have experienced. We had a wonderful stay over some cold winter weather & the cottage was a lovely cosy base. Perfect.

Very nice cottage in a lovely location. Gardens are beautiful and right by a river. The village itself is lovely and we heartily recommend the deli, the fish and chip shop and the Royal pub too!
Nice walks nearby of various difficulties and the countryside is beautiful.
Lovely welcome by the owners who were on hand if anything was needed. Kitchen very well equipped with lots of cooking pans, utensils, foil, etc - very useful.
If you go in autumn or winter though, do take lots of warm clothes and pyjamas.
Lovely clean homely house with everything we needed. Beautiful setting by the river and lots of wildlife in the garden.
A lovely cottage for 2 couples, in quiet surroundings very close to village amenities. It was very clean and comfortable, and we appreciated that the owner had left us essential kitchen/bathroom items to use. Beds comfortable, and the whole place was warm and cosy. We would definitely go again.
beautifull house we soon made our home.left with some great memories.would recommend
Rathlin Coach House really is a first class cottage, perfectly presented and the owners living next door could not have been more welcoming and friendly sorting out a couple of very minor problems we had. Comrie is a small village but has all the small shop amenities you could wish for making for a good holiday. Once you have discovered the local deli in the high street you know you have arrived.
A fantastic place to stay, homely and a wonderful location - like going back in time, with local shops providing everything you need, without the big boys!
