The cottage is located up a winding farmers track by a small sign thats easily missed. Once you’re their though! WOW!! The views and peacefulness are out of this world. The furnishings were either cheap, or knackered and old, except a lovely dining room table. This cottage has the wow factor. Its clean and has everything you need to survive, but left me feeling a little less than satisfied. No welcome pack or useful information available. The toilet was broke for the first 3 days. Still useable but needed a plumber to mend, who came midway through our stay. Dirty lampshades and drawers that fell apart. The blinds had damp mould stains. The freezer handle was jagged and broken. This could be amazing if it werent for the finishing touches. There were 2 adults and 4 children staying here and thats not good when you have one broken loo to share!

By far the best location I've ever stayed in. On top of a hill, views are uninterrupted, truly stunning. The cottage itself is of a high standard, good size rooms, everything that you need and a cozy log log burner for the evenings. Outside there is more than enough garden to keep the kids happy.

We loved the cottage, appreciating the fact that it had not been over-modernised but had kept some of the original features of the farmhouse including the black and orange tiled floors, the wood-lined walls in the dining room and the rough stone fireplaces. The situation was fabulous- views of the sea on three sides and a wonderful panorama of Snowdonia. It was great to able to walk from the cottage to the lovely Porth Ceiriad beach. We had two small children and a baby with us but still managed to go out in all weathers. It was an ideal place to stay for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and appreciates the beauties of the lovely Lleyn Peninsula.
