Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. \n Elec CH elec bed linen and Wi-Fi inc. DVD. StereoCD. Elec cooker. Mwave. Freezer. Parking 1 car.\n This third floor holiday apartment furnished and equipped to a good standard offers quality accommodation for a couple or family. It has the advantage of a lift and is approximately 0.25 miles from the harbour and close to all local amenities. Whitby offers attractions such as fishing sailing golf abbey museums shops pubs and restaurants. The town’s skyline is dominated by the ruins of St. Hilda’s Abbey. Spreading below a maze of alleyways and narrow streets run down to the busy quayside. From the old town 199 steps lead up to the parish church of St. Mary one of the finest Anglo Saxon churches in the country and whose churchyard gave Bram Stoker the inspiration to write Dracula. A superb base to explore Yorkshire’s east coast holiday resorts and the pretty quaint villages in the North Yorkshire Moors better known as ’Heartbeat’ country.     Well equipped and fairly well presented apartment within easy walking distance of Whitby town. Criticisms are: Cleanliness could be better, a bit dusty. However, this may be due to the lack of occupancy over the winter. The lounge Sofas are a bit uncomfortable. Bizarrely the BBC channels pixelates when the shower operates. Whilst we were there the heaters in the lounge and hallway failed (we needed them as it was the first week of March) However, full marks to the owner as he responded immediately. We would definitely occupy again if the opportunity arose.
