Nice cottage in a quiet little village ( across the road from the village pub ) we found it had everything we needed, having sinks in the bedrooms made the morning bathroom rush a lot easier too.

Rose Cottage 1 is lovely comfortable well equipped and only a few minute's drive from Whitby (you probably need a car as no bus service and nearest station 10 mins walk - but only 5 trains a day) where you will find supermarkets , restaurants and other attractions. Sneaton is very quiet (most of the village is on a no through road) and you will wake up to birds singing, the pub is directly opposite the cottage but only opens evenings and for Sunday lunch and does not cause any disturbance to the charm of the cottage.

Warm Comfortable accommodation. Downstairs Bathroom. Could do with a new Microwave. Would be nice to have an Internet connection. Plus personally I hate the re-use of SKY boxes to provide TV services. Otherwise many things to recommend it.

Lovely location and good food across the road in the Wilson Arms. A mix up with a double booking took the initial shine off which was a shame... Nice ice cream at the farm shop just steps away and beautiful views.

Lovely little cottage. Very comfortable beds, deep bath and convenient parking on the drive. Plenty of hot water with efficient central heating. Kitchen, dining room and lounge are all in one and on the small side but cozy. Very helpful and kind owners.

Rose cottage is wonderful, we stayed there for 1 week, Nov3rd till Nov 10th , it only rained once in the daytime, the cottage is spotlessly clean and cosy, with Sky tv, the only drawback is there is no wifi, and if it was installed it would be just perfect. The Wilsons Arms across the road serves wonderful food and drink and is dog friendly, plenty of good walks all around. I would definitely book it again, if you want peace and quiet, then this is for you. The welcome pack was a nice touch.
