There is a separate living room for quiet time and a chance to relax after a day of exploration. There are two bedrooms on the first floor next to a family bathroom, and a master bedroom with en-suite on the top floor. There are gardens and outdoor areas all around the property as well as bike storage available. For walkers or those taking their four-legged friends, there is an outside cleaning area.
Robins Hood’s Bay is a short walk away which takes in fantastic views down into the bay with its maritime history, traditional pubs and a fantastic beach. There is also an abundance of walks and cycle tracks for ramblers and cyclists to take advantage of right on your doorstep. The Esk Valley and its stunning scenery, best enjoyed from the windows of the steam train that travels right into the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, is close by.
Whitby is a short drive or local bus journey away with its stunning abbey, abundance of restaurants, bars, tearooms and golden sands. It hosts regular festivals and events such as the Whitby Goth Weekend, a regatta and regular music events. The traditional seaside resort of Scarborough is just south of Fylingthorpe and has its own attractions such as the open air theatre with regular international bands and artists, Alpamare Waterpark and Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary. Board the North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam train for a step back in time and travel to the villages of Goathland, made famous by TV series ’Heartbeat’, and Grosmont. The medieval walled town of York is just an hour way and is host to many attractions including the National Railway Museum and the Jorvik Viking Centre. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
