We did expect more space for the money plus a much better furniture. As we missed our ferry from France we tried several times to contact by phone the number indicated that we would arrive 1 day later. Upon arrival in Portmouth late in the evening next day we tried again in vain. We thought it would be too risky to find the keys plus house very late at night, we made another stopover in a hotel, misssing the 2nd night we paid for. We counted on the restaurant on siteon the other days but found it closed . There we not towels at all available and we had to ask for them the next morning. We were not used from other rentals to be charged for electricity, which was another 26 p.st. for 5 evenings. The small road to the holiday site was ok in November, however we do not dare to think what might happen during the holiday season. However the place as such with the lake is lovely , but from former rentals we did expect more from the cottage

We stayed in the Hayloft. Lovely. Very clean and well equipped, everything we could want and need. The surroundings were beautiful and so quiet. We had a small waterfall behind the Hayloft. The whole area was beautiful. The lake was full of fish🎣 brilliant fishing we were assured by a gentleman who knew. 😀. Highly recommended. A brilliant week. Really recommended.

Lovely apartment in beautiful surroundings. Suited my needs well. Sofa cover was a little split but other than that the apartment was very comfortable. Loved the walks on the grounds and the area around was so interesting- loads to see and do.

Very nice location and I love Cornwall. I mentioned at the start that I wouldn’t go back again but I never return to a place that I’ve been to before. This is based on the fact that there’s a lot more world that I haven’t seen then have!
