Off road parking for 1 car.\n\n Sanna is a delightful detached cottage located in the hamlet of Ardentinny on the banks of Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde near Dunoon.  This stone built self catering cottage was formally the old village hall dating back to the late 1800’s. Now tastefully renovated into comfortable holiday accommodation for a couple the cottage has wooden floors throughout a double bedroom with en-suite facilities and a spacious open plan living space with kitchen dining and seating area. There is also a single chair in the lounge area which converts into a single bed to provide additional sleeping space. The cottage also has its own enclosed gravel garden area and off street parking. Ardentinny is situated within Loch Lomond Trossachs National Park and next to Argyll Forest which offers numerous forest tracks marked walks and cycleways within this area all easily accessible and right on your doorstep. The cottage has the additional benefit that it is only a short walk 200 yards to gain access to the seafront where you can walk fish launch a canoe or just rest on the rocks relax and enjoy the view. Shop 5 miles pub and restaurant 50 yards.     Lovely, spotless, very well equipped wee cottage with many walks close by. Beautiful scenery right on your doorstep. John and Sandra are the perfect hosts who like to go that extra mile for you. Unfortunately, because of covid we missed out on their complimentary baking but we'll be back at a later date to try it out. Lol!! Well worth a visit

    This was a most enjoyable stay. The cottage was the perfect size for us and the dogs and we loved the location and the ability to be able to walk on to the beach and round the bay first thing in the morning and then before dinner. We very much enjoyed a couple of meals at The Ardentinny, right across the road. The only thing we would have liked is a sofa to sit on. The chairs are ok, and they do recline, but we found them not the best for a sore back. Other than that, couldn’t fault it! We hope to be back in Ardentinny soon.

    We loved staying at Sanna Cottage. The owners are super helpful and very friendly. We didn't need to ask for any thing ,everything was provided. Internet was fast. Quiet area with beautiful scenery. Highly recommend

    Good location for a quiet break. Although no local shop available, the cottage is located opposite a lovely bistro which serves great food (the only place for a few miles). We visited 3 times in our week at Sanna and each different selection off the menu we tried was excellent. Good location also for dog walking - various routes displayed on signage about 100 yards down the road from the Bistro on the shore edge of Loch Long. Beautiful scenery all around. The town of Dunoon only a few miles away accessible by a great picturesque drive along the edge of Holy Loch. Would highly recommend visits to Pucks Glen for walks/dog walking; Benmore Botanical Gardens with its giant Redwoods, gardens, and cafe shop; and also, a must visit, the Coylet Inn at the side of the fantastic Loch Eck for some fabulous food and drink!
