Lovely place to stay friendly people would highly recommend stable cottage
Roomy, clean and issues dealt with promptly. Outstanding views from the property.
One of the best cottages we have stayed in. The location was great with Seaton, Sidmouth, Beer and Lyme Regis all within very easy reach whilst still allowing for a farm/countryside setting. Morganhayes forestry commision within 1 mile was the perfect wooded setting for our daily walks with our labrador off the lead. Colyton was very close with its garden centre, antiques centre, chemist, fish and chip shop and convenience stores whilst for more extensive shopping the Tesco in Seaton fitted the bill well. Weather was great which also helped by allowing us to have breakfast and lunch most days outside overlooking the countryside towards Axmouth and Seaton. Definitely worth a stay especially for 4 adults, 4 children and a couple of small dogs as the enclosed garden would keep all safe children and dogs alike.
Celebrated a birthday with family. Great place to stay, lots of room, owner on site and very helpful. Can walk from the cottage around the farm. Helpful folder with detailed local walks of varying distances. Would consider again.

This is the second year we have stayed at Stable Cottage. A very relaxing weekend away in a beautiful location with lots to do or simply unwind. Highly recommended.
Our party of 8 had a comfortable, relaxing break at Stable Cottages. Owner was very helpful and welcoming right from the initial booking to greeting us upon arrival and being on hand should any issues arise. Cottage was spacious with great views and character. Very well equipped, comfortable, warm and welcoming. Would recommend.
An amazing self catering location in the middle of the glorious Devon Countryside.
Lovely, warm and comfortable, you’ll want for absolutely nothing in these fully equipped conversions in the heart of a working farm.
Only a short hop to the amazing Devon and Jurassic Coastline you are ideally situated for countryside walks or along the many local beach fronts.
Look forward to a fantastic welcome from the owner who makes you and your party feel part of the scenery immediately.
Just relax and enjoy the location and your well earned break...!

All problems checked & fixed immediately. Enjoyed our stay apart from the weather, which we had no control over. Cottage decorated for Xmas, log fire burning and mulled wine on the hob, so all was well.
We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed for two nights during November 2018. Overall the property was really spacious and well equipped with lots of games and DVDs for entertainment. All rooms were a fantastic size to accommodate the entire party and the kitchen had an abundance of tools to ensure able to cook for everyone.
Overall the location was good, with plenty of walks nearby and dog friendly beaches and pubs.
It was fantastic value for money, would happily pay more if there was a Hot Tub & Comfier beds.
best equipped kitchen that we have ever had. plenty of plates etc. Lovely and clean, nice welcome on arrival. excellent views from windows and most important lots and lots of hot water.

Very pleasant cottage with plenty of space for all of us to spread out. Excellent selection of games to play if wanted. Nice and warm with underfloor heating set at a generous temperature. Lots of kitchen utensils and pots and pans but knives were all blunt, which made cutting hazardous and one pot had such a wonky bottom it was useless for cooking (only found out after trying to use). Our showerhead was leaking and ours and at least one other heat control were damaged, which made getting an appropriate temperature setting difficult. There were dozens of cups, but only 5 mugs, which meant one of us had to use a cup. There were old cobwebs and dust in lots of places. Beams don't make it easy to dust, but the dust was thick - look in the Screw Room (I hated that name, by the way) and the roof windows were dirty on the inside, no excuse for that. The folder of local info contained details that were superseded in 2004, so can't have been looked at since then. These are niggles which didn't really affect our enjoyment of the stay, but it felt as if the owners set it all up years ago and then sat back thinking no further effort was needed.
Perfect size for our family group. Well equipped and comfortable. Excellent, peaceful position (for those wanting to be in the countryside!) with amazing views and walks on the farm. Entertainment included, courtesy of Nobby the ostrich!! Many attractions not too far away by car. Would definitely visit again.
The cottage exceeded our expectations and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Can thoroughly recommend.
Very nice cottage and plenty to see and do
Lovely location with fantastic views. Car needed all of the time as nothing within walking distance and lanes very narrow to manoeuvre. Cottage very spacious but could do with a bit of TLC quite dated. Owners very accomodating and minor problems sorted straight away. Ideal having all bedrooms ensuite no fighting for the shower. There were 4 generations and a puppy in our party and the accommodation was suitable for us all.
