A lovely cottage, myself and friends had a lovely stay, very clean and great comfy beds - pillows and duvet were lovely! Would recommend.

Fantastic break in a beautiful cottage. Great value. Only downfall was the television signal.

    Lovely cosy cottage

Lovely holiday in Bakewell. The cottage was within easy quick walk into Bakewell. It was very warm and cosy and dog friendly which is very much appreciated. The only down side was the lack of parking, we parked in Yeld road which was a few misalliance up the hill from the cottage. The road outside the cottage is a main road into Bakewell so is busy especially rush hour, consequently there is traffic noise. Overall it was a lovely break with plenty of places to visit and lovely dog friendly pubs. I would definitely book Starry cottage again

Beautiful cottage, beautifully presented. Parking a bit of an issue but to be expected in such an old village - we parked up the hill on the next road. Excellent to just walk down the hill and be on the high street. All in all, a great half term stay.

Lovely cottage and great location, 5 minutes walk from Bakewell shops and pubs. The only downside was the TV signal was poor and the picture wasn't great therefore we couldn't watch the Rugby Semi Final or Match of the Day during the evening (we are sports fans so this was the only negative). The open fire was just fabulous as was the furnishings (very very nice). The courtyard was great too as this was enclosed and private, perfect for our dog Oscar. Would definitely return!!!!

Cosy cottage but with a very small bathroom, poor tv reception and lack of car parking.

    out of 10

A lovely little cottage and very conveniently situated in the town. The lack of parking space was only a minor irritation - we parked on Yeld Road which wasn't far away and the church clock didn't keep us awake. We would definitely return to Starry Cottage.

This was a lovely cottage, very cosy. We did not find the street noise intrusive as some reviews have said. The shower room is tiny but very clever how they got it to fit in upstairs. My son adored the smart TV and the new sofa is very comfy. If you want a central Bakewell cottage with less walking up hills then this is definitely the one. Thank you for a lovely break.
