Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Livingston are all close by, with castles, historic houses and gardens, museums, galleries, hill walking, golfing or fishing all in easy reach. Livingston’s vast retail outlet is just eight miles. Or simply take a book into the garden, delve into the games and toy cupboards or head off into the hills from the doorstep.
Steading Cottage is in the heart of the farm, deceptively spacious, white, light and inviting with its multi-fuel stove and lovely high ceiling in the open plan living area. It is set back from the road with a small enclosed garden in front, beside farm buildings and a field. Its proximity to the livestock barns has proved popular with guests.
Steading Cottage can be booked together with Crosswoodhill Wing (CC531126) to accommodate up to 12 guests.
