Sunloch Cottage is a pretty, end-of-terrace cottage, located in the small hamlet of Tregaseal, in the heart of a peaceful valley with a stream running through. Comfy sofas for a cosy evening in front of the wood burner during a winter break, and a long front lawn, garden and patio for summer evenings, make this property appealing to small families or couples looking for a relaxing romantic break. The area has lovely walks, a small craft shop and is just ¼ mile from the busy square of St Just with its array of shops, including a butchers, bakers, fruit and veg shop, two small supermarkets, post office, four pubs, tea rooms and art galleries. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the stunning coastal paths, and the area has World Heritage status for its mining history, with the famous Crown Mines dotted along the rugged coastline. The area and coastline was used for the Poldark TV series. There is easy access to nearby Cape Cornwall, beautiful Sennen Cove, legendary Lands End and the beautiful cove and beach at Porthcurno, overlooked by the romantic Minack Open Air Theatre. The area attracts walkers, bird watchers, water sports enthusiasts, beach lovers and those interested in history and mining heritage. The fresh fish market at Newlyn, the pretty harbour and village of Mousehole and St Michaels Mount at Marazion all within easy reach. Take the scenic coastal drive from nearby Pendeen to St Ives, over heather clad moorland passing Zennor, famous for its mermaid tales. Or take a delightful day trip to the beautiful Isles of Scilly by small plane from Lands End Airport. Beach 2 miles. Shop and pub ½, restaurant 1 mile.
