Set in the sought-after village of Colkirk in a quiet location you are sure of a warm welcome at Sunnyside. This semi-detached property boasts gardens to the side and rear with a sunny patio on which to enjoy a morning coffee or a late afternoon glass of something chilled. With a kitchen-dining room which runs the length of the property you will find inside dining options as tempting as the garden ones. With an upstairs family bathroom and a downstairs separate toilet there are lots of things to love about this property which has been decorated and furnished to ensure comfort throughout.
It is of course in a great location too as it is possible to visit the three Norfolk highlights, the coast, the Broads and the city during your stay. Coast loves should head to Wells-next-the-Sea and enjoy fish and chips on the quayside while watching the boats bobbing on the tide. Or venture a little further and visit Blakeney and undertake a spot of crab-lining or take a seasonal boat trip out to see the seals.
West from here lies Hunstanton, locally known as ‘Sunny Hunny’ here you will find a wide sandy beach and lots of traditional seaside attractions including amusements and a SeaLife Centre. In fact, this stunning coastline is packed with picturesque beaches, salt and clay marshes such as RSPB Cley Marshes and much photographed quays.
History buffs will enjoy visits to the Thursford Collection with it’s Christmas Spectacular Show and the Muckleburgh Collection along with the Blickling, Holkham, Houghton and Sandringham Estates. Nearby Fakenham has lots to offer too including a market/auction, a cinema and golf and racecourses. Add in Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, North Norfolk Railways, Cromer Pier, Amazonia Zoo and so much more and you will soon see why people come back to this part of Norfolk time and time again. And after a busy day, what a treat to head back to Sunnyside and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. Beach 12 miles. Pub ¾ mile.
