Once inside, there is plenty of room, with a bright and airy feel throughout. There is a good-sized kitchen and dining area, and useful utility room, whilst the living space is great to just relax in after a busy day of adventures, or the conservatory offers an extension to the outside garden. There are far reaching views to the countryside beyond and outdoor furniture is provided, ideal to enjoy a little al fresco dining perhaps or simply a morning coffee. Upstairs you will find ample and flexible accommodation, a kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower, plus a further double room. Bedroom three is popular with younger guests, incorporating a bunk bed, whilst there is a further single room too. The family bathroom has a bath and double shower.
You will find beautiful beaches just a short drive away, along with cliff top walks, coves and inlets, and at low tide there are rock pools to explore. Visit wonderful Fowey where countryside joins the coast and narrow streets contain pubs, restaurants and boutique shops. The harbour town of Looe is a must visit, where along with neighbouring Polperro, tales of smuggling and wrecking long past live on.
Away from the coast, the world famous Eden Project is just over 3 miles away, with its magnificent biomes and largest undercover rainforest in the world. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are well worth a visit, a hidden gem set in 200 acres. Once lost to time, the gardens were rediscovered and over time restored back to their former glory. The ancient town of Bodmin, with its magical and mystical moor, is just 8 miles distant, where a heritage steam railway, gripping experience at the town’s once notorious jail, and the popular Camel Trail can be found and enjoyed.
