This is a lovely cottage and suited our needs perfectly.

Gorgeous homely cottage. Kitchen was really well equipped with plenty of plates, mugs etc. Tastefully decorated. Dog friendly. Great having 2 lounges, both with TVs in. Ideal base for exploring the New Forest.

Well equipped and cosy cottage. Lovely for a family get together. In a great location for beaches and for attractions such as Beaulieu and Peppa Pig World.

The Bothy was a good place for our party - 4 adults - 3 dogs. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom good for our party as one member has difficulty with stairs. The Aga being on 24/7 365 days a year was a problem for us as Kitchen was a no go area for us as it was way too hot for this time of year and unpleasant for dogs to be shut in at night. This aside we had a good holiday. Lots of good dog walks nearby, one just across the road, ideal for early morning walk.

We were a family group of seven, aged from three to 71 plus our dog. The Bothy suited all our needs and being in such a convenient location we could not ask for more. Just across the road was a field and woodland area which was ideal for walking the dog first thing in the morning and the garden was child and dog safe being completely enclosed. We will definitely go back to the Bothy next year.

The Bothy is a lovely 'home away from home': beautifully laid out and furnished, it provided just what we needed for a relaxing weekend and birthday celebration with friends.

Three generations, including two young adults, have just shared The Bothy and it suited us all extremely well. It offered us comfort and enough space that we did not feel crowded. Comfortable beds, two lounges + two TVs, two bathrooms plus a welcoming family kitchen made for a relaxed and companionable week. Quietly situated it was easy enough to be out and about in a delightful area.

Really lovely cottage. Warm, comfortable and cosy. You can walk to Lymington which is a lovely town with good shops and range of eateries. Also you can do a good walk from there along the Solent Way with views of the Isle of Wight and Needles. Can highly recommend.

We had a very comfortable week at The Bothy and enjoyed ourselves during our stay. The weather was kind to us. You will need a car to visit most of the local attractions. There are plenty of walks for dogs across the fields , whicfaultedh one assumes can get very muddy during wet weather as the foot paths along the local roads are few and far between. Wellies are a must. Bear in mind local roads are very busy and we feel especially during the summer months . The house was well equipped and we found the beds very comfortable. We were greeted with a welcome pack and treats were left for our dog. The Monkey House pub is worth a visit for a meal and the service couldn't be faulted.

A lovely cottage, very clean and well equipped. Games room a real bonus also garden closed in so safe for dogs.

Large, spacious, comfortable home with everything we needed for our short stay. Our dogs loved it and this is the most settled they've been when we've taken them away. Will definitely be booking again.
