Delight in the rural retreat of Riverside Bryn at Blackclough Farm, located in a spectacular spot in the middle of the Staffordshire Moorlands, offering dramatic views of undulating hills that stretch for miles and surround the farm on every side.
It’s a place where you can enjoy true relaxation in serene surroundings, with only the sounds of a nearby river and sheep as your neighbours.
The farmhouse boasts a cosy living room with an impressive stone fireplace and exposed stone walls—perfect for the cooler months when you can light the log burner and enjoy relaxed evenings together. Further on the ground floor, you’ll find a kitchen with views of the hills and an impressive dining room, ideal for entertaining guests around a large dining table. A ground-floor shower room and WC complete this level.
From the dining room, head upstairs to the first floor, where you’ll find two spacious bedrooms and a family bathroom. The main double bedroom features panoramic views of the ever-changing vistas, while the second bedroom, ideal for younger guests or as a family room, includes three single beds.
Nestled in the heart of the Peak District, within the dramatic Staffordshire Moorlands, the property is situated in a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby opportunities for walking, mountain biking, and climbing, while the village of Flash and the spa town of Buxton are within easy reach for local amenities and attractions.
For larger groups, Riverside Bryn can be booked together with The Grange to accommodate up to 10 guests. Please note that Riverside Bryn shares an entrance and boot room with The Grange, but each property has its own separate door leading to its respective side. We welcome one dog to stay at the farmhouse for an additional charge. We kindly request that the dog be over 12 months old, and that pets are not allowed upstairs or on soft furnishings.
Please be aware, as this property is in a rural location during extreme weather conditions or peak winter periods, the road leading to the property may become inaccessible. We recommend guests plan to arrive before dark when possible, and to check weather forecasts in advance during the winter months.
