Great location, just a short walk to Dunkeld which had everything you need. Ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle of life. Small cottage ideal for 2 and a dog. Perfect location for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the enclosed garden was great for our dog. The outside table and chairs were in a lovely sunny spot. An easy walk into Dunkeld where most pubs, cafe etc are dog friendly. Loads of walks nearby, so we barely used our car. We'd have preferred a more powerful shower, and though it didn't affect us as we didn't eat in much, the fridge is on the small side and there wasn't much kitchen storage space for food. We'd definitely return for another stay.

Brilliant holiday, would recommend this cottage, never mind the "hair-pin" on the way up the hill, it's worth it, lovely cottage, owner "Mark" gr8t guy - less than a 10min walk into Birnam and local amenities a further 10 min and you are in Dunkeld excellent for us, would we stay again I want to say no (only joking) to be sure we can book again, warm and cosy also - now that pleased the Mrs.

A very comfortable stay. Beautiful area and very good cottage for us with one dog. Very comfortable bedroom. Our only problem was location in the dark of winter nights. The road up to the house has a very sharp bend which was a bit daunting in the dark. In lighter times of the year this would not be an issue. Access to woodland walks is excellent. It cannot be changed but may put off some people.

Had a brilliant week in Birnam. Lots of walking and cycling. Weather great. The cottage was good for access to walks, cycling and local amenities. Wouldn’t stay again due to poor access road, poor area for turning and within the cottage itself the kitchen was too small and lacking in some of equipment for us as we like to cook as well as eating out.
