We knew this Cottage was remote but didn't realise how much,we are used to lanes like this but every time we went out Satnav brought us home to the cottage miles and miles on one track roads, and what should have taken 30 mins sometimes it was 1.5 hrs very stressful indeed,As for the Cottage it needed a good clean downstairs ,looks very tired, and was very dusty,I had to wash out cutlery drawer as it was really dirty,I'm a Housekeeper so I do know how it should look, the upstairs has good ensuites in each room but sadly these are getting to look like downstairs in places, there is no downstairs toilet,so if your not good at climbing stairs more than just going to bed. Windows could do with a clean. All in all I would recommend this place if you don't mind it not being the cleanest place to stay, ideal for the dogs.

We had a lovely time. We hadn't realised that our dogs would not be allowed upstairs, but it did mean the bedrooms and bathrooms were luxury spotless!

Nice place to stay. Quiet apart from the neighbours dogs. It suffered from quite a few flies that we couldn't get rid of. Some TV's didn't work very well. Friendly owners.

A remote peaceful retreat. Only phones with wifi can access calls. Plenty of birds and animals. Roads around not for the faint hearted. Fine views from bedroom windows.
