Defiantly go there again really enjoyed. Lovely cottage really clean and great location !

Cramped, rather shabby cottage with no views and nowhere to sit outdoors.

    out of 10

Generally quite clean from point of view what can be seen, had to look under the sofa for domino, looks like it had not been moved in months due to amount of dust under it. Also the heating which is electric , the covers over the LIVE electrical terminals on two heaters were broken and simply fell off onto the floor, please be aware especially if you are taking children, both these heaters should be condemned until FIXED.

Alovely cottage spoilt by location ,two pubs immediately adjacent to cottage very noisy until 1am plus ,Friday and Saturday nights .stable door broken but I know for fact that it has been reported ,shower head broke, shower dirty behind where doors slide back

Nice place but the cottage is in need of a little TLC the shower is a waste of time!

We had a lovely week at The Coracle. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped although it could do with some attention being paid to a few areas. The log burner wasn’t working very well, we wondered if the chimney needs to be swept or the log burner needs a service. Some of the fixtures need attention - several of the radiators and curtain tie back hopks were hanging off the walls and the shower head was loose. The hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks were hit and miss. The location was excellent and although there was some noise from the pubs opposite we slept really well. The cottage is brilliantly located for local amenities.

We had a great time! Would like to go again! Thank You

    Very pleased with The CORACLE.

Lovely little cottage and handily located. Could do with a new coffee plunger as someone has clearly burned the bottom by placing it on a hot hob! The radiator near the tv didn't work. Other things to consider would be a clothes horse to dry clothes/washing and tongs for the kitchen. Clarity that parking on the road is a free for all would have been helpful too. We had a great week though and thoroughly enjoyed it.

A lovely well equipped cottage with the added bonus of a log burning stove. Great location to explore Seahouse. Will stay here again.

Lovely little cottage in Seahouses, just a few minutes walk away from the centre and harbour. Across the road from The Black Swan which does a fabulous Sunday Roast, and The Schooner which has loud/live music Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You can hear the music from the main bedroom. I know some in the past have found it intrusive and it might bother light sleepers, but years of shift work meant we were sleep through it so no idea what time it finishes! The cottage itself is well kept and cosy, perfect for two. There is no phone reception (a bonus for us!) but the WiFi works fine. Comfy bed, working radiators and fire in the living room meant we were able to keep warm. Cooking facilities are grand, plenty of dishes, pots and pans if you want to cook. Complementary tea and biscuits for your arrival too. The staff at the Alnwick office are lovely and helpful. We had a wonderful week in this cottage and will be back!
