What a wonderful property The Den at Star Fen is! It was the perfect location for a romantic getaway with our puppy. Tim and Sharon were excellent hosts and made our stay extra special!

Very comfortable accommodation with enclosed garden (very useful for toddlers and dogs!) Close to owners but we found that a positive nothing was too much trouble. Good location for exploring with lots to see and do.

We had a lovely time visiting the Den with our dog and 11 month old daughter. There isn't loads to do nearby but we had short trips out to be home for nap time anyway. We went to baytree nursery and Springfield shopping. Lincolnshire wildlife park. Jolly jungle softplay in sleaford and had a great time at Heckington windmill. The hottub at the den is amazing and was perfect when we had put our daughter to bed. Take the monitor outside and we knew she was safe as we were directly outside the door. We cooked all our meals in the cottage and it had everything we needed. We took a picnic out everyday with us using the picnic bag supplied by the den. Sharon and Tim are great hosts. There when you need them but they leave you to it.

Absolutely loved the accommodation. Very clean, very cosy and very well thought out. Friendly greeting on arrival and a tour of the property and instruction for the hot tub. Everything was in the accommodation that we needed (including milk and tea bags on arrival). Hot tub was easy to use and perfectly positioned to gaze at the stars. Towels were provided and hats (for colder nights in the tub). Location is perfect for a quiet break, but a short car drive will get you to local pubs and shops. Skegness was worth a visit (just over an hour) and Lincoln (about 35 min).

the accomadation is nice and very clean. The owners are also very nice. Unfortunately the accomodation is in their back garden and overlooked by their house. So although out in the country its not very private.
