The location is perfect for those wishing to explore the stunning yet often overlooked Yorkshire Wolds with numerous walking and cycling routes, quaint villages, and bustling market towns. Explore the local area, within easy reach of the coast and seaside towns of Bridlington and Filey, and only 20 minutes’ drive from the park & ride service into the historic city of York.
4 pods are available on one site; Bay House, The Beachside Barn, The Farmstead, and Heather Bank. Each of the pods is fully insulated and has underfloor heating and En-suite shower rooms, making them ideal for year-round stays. Each comprises 2 double beds and a single bunk comfortably accommodating up to 5 guests. A kitchenette includes fridge with ice compartment, microwave, kettle, ceramic hob, toaster, coffee maker & a range of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, etc. Enjoy a welcome hamper on arrival including tea, coffee pods, milk, and breakfast essentials. Relax on the sofa in the evening in the living area, with extendable dining table and chairs, smart TV, and Bluetooth speaker. Wi-Fi is also available in the pod.
Outside is a seating area with brazier. Gas barbecues are available to hire for the duration of your stay.
Parking is provided for one vehicle per pod in a designated area adjacent to the field where the pods are sited. Additional vehicles can be parked with prior agreement from the site owners. Children aged 0-3 stay free and are exempt from the additional guest supplement, but the maximum occupancy of 5 still applies.
Check-in is from 4pm-8pm; if you are due to arrive outside of this time, please contact us.
We are unable to accommodate any pets in the pods. The site is located on a working farm/livery yard, so please be aware that agricultural machinery may be operating around Bugthorpe Grange. We also ask that guests do not approach or attempt to feed any livestock (including horses and dogs) and to be aware that we use electric fencing where we have livestock.
