The Old Coach House is a two-storey cottage on a small farm with lovely views over meadows and woodland. Originally the coach house for the Hanley farm, this detached property has been converted in 2003 into a comfortable holiday home for up to four people.
The cottage is situated just 3 miles south west of the centre of the medieval town of Shrewsbury, in a rural position on the edge of the small village of Hook-a-Gate overlooking farmland. The village has a traditional local pub 10 minutes walk away. There is easy access to major road networks, including the A5, A49 and A458, and to the surrounding beautiful countryside with several public footpaths. Good road access to the south Shropshire hills, Ironbridge and Wales.
The Old Coach House can be booked together with The Old Corn House (Ref UK41271) to accommodate up to 6 guests, the 2 cottages being situated about 40 yards apart so maintaining their individuality and privacy.
