A lovely cottage situated in a good location, the village has everything you need. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's the first time we have stayed in a cottage where a few things like tea and milk are not provided but luckily the shop was close by and considering there wasn't a dish washer there was no scourer to wash up with which obviously we didn't expect to bring with us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything else needed. Overall though we had a great time and really enjoyed staying at the Old Farmhouse. With the couple of things I've mentioned and the addition of Wi-Fi I would definitely give this property a 10

The house is charming. Grade II listed, and comes with the quirks you'd expect of a property that age. Everything was beautifully clean, and we received a very warm welcome from the owner, who took the time to show us around, and had put the heating was on before we got there to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. Perfect for our party of 4. Be warned that there was nothing in the kitchen by way of condiments, tea, coffee, so plan on bringing your own, but that in no way marred our enjoyment of the place. There were some lovely dog walks in the Forest of Dean, loads of interesting places to visit near by, and the Cock Inn, a 90 second walk up the road, provided us with a tasty dinner and some really great company. Definitely somewhere to return to.

Very cosy and comfortable farmhouse. Would definitely stay again. 2 minute walk to a friendly local pub with lovely food. 10 minute drive to the White Hart Pub overlooking the river, very good food.
