My wife and I and our Cairn Terrier Reg had a very pleasant 3 night stay at The Coach House in early January 2020. It started with a very warm greeting from the owner who made us all feel very welcome. The setting, in the grounds of The Old Rectory, is wonderful and the accommodation is very comfortable with plenty of room inside and outside, and it's well equipped with very good showers and everything else we needed. It's warm and cosy, especially when the log fire is going. Dereham is just over a mile away and has plenty of shops and restaurants, and the best parts of Norfolk are in easy reach. We wished we could have stayed longer, but hope to return for a longer stay as soon as we can. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to others.

I booked The Coach House for a three week period over Christmas and New Year to provide a base for myself, my daughter from Dubai, her little boy and twin babies and the children’s nanny. From the moment we were welcomed through the door to the warm and cosy atmosphere and the thoughtful Christmas decorations we knew that we had found a lovely home from home at this special time of the year. Everything we needed was to hand, even down to a baby bath for the twins. We enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful setting, the easy access to transport into the town and the proximity of a recreation ground for my grandson and his football. Thank you, Ian and Susan, for all your kindness - not forgetting the lovely fresh eggs!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Coach House. We keep returning because it provides the type of holiday accommodation we like. It is suitable for a disabled person with level access throughout the ground floor, including the bedroom and a wet room. The cottage has been tastefully modernised by the owners, and is very comfortable in a quiet and peaceful setting. The owners, in whose grounds the cottage is sited, provide a warm welcome and are always very helpful.

The Coach House is a real home from home with everything you could wish for. In a tranquil, peaceful setting yet within easy driving distance from numerous places of interest. We were given a warm welcome by the owner who it is apparent, does her upmost to personalise everyones visit. Just to be aware that you need to travel a way to find a nice country pub for an evening meal but that said the facilities in the cottage are second to none and there are many supermarkets/farm shops from which to obtain supplies. We found that after a day exploring the lovely Norfolk area, to sit out in the private garden of an evening over a meal and a glass of wine was pure heaven. Despite many years of enjoying cottage holidays, we have never as yet returned to the same one twice but this could well be the exception!

Perfect cottage in the perfect area. Garden excellent for our dog as it is fully enclosed.
