Everything about the cottage, the owners, the welcome we received the area was really very good. There was only one very minor hiccup & that was the hot tub was just not the best we have ever had but it was most definitely acceptable & very clean.

one of the best “cottages” we have ever stayed at - Mel & Rob have a great little property which is well presented. The view over the vineyard is most pleasing especially from the hot tub. The single track from the main road is sometime troublesome as it is used by several homes and farms.the dog was most welcome and ”harry “the owners jack Russell.

Cottage was well equipped and inviting. Everything was clean and all equipment worked. Cottage doesn't have own enclosed garden which could be an issue for some dogs and it was directly adjacent to the road although this was only a country lane. I felt the hot tub was not very private as could be overlooked by the owners house. View from hot tub over the vineyard was lovely.

Fantastic hosts: friendly and available if needed, but left you to it otherwise. Beautifully presented accommodation that was absolutely spotless. Have already recommended the place to friends and we are definitely planning a return visit. If I was to be really picky, I would prefer a harder mattress (the mattress was very soft and you tended to roll in the middle) and the shower, because it was electric, wasn't very powerful. However, these are minor things and would certainly not put me off returning to such a lovely 'cottage.'

An absolutely amazing little treasure in the country,Mel and Rob are fantastic hosts, it's a must for anyone needing a total get away. Car essential, pet friendly, hot tub.The small things are not overlooked either, washing powder dishwasher tablets tea towels, nothing missed. We were sadly snowed in not having a 4x4 and woke up to 8 inches of snow, but we did not have to worry was looked after by Mel and Rob getting our shopping, why we cosied up to the log burner and dipped in the hot tub.

Lovely cosy cottage in a superb area. The cottage has everything you need and set in a beautiful, quite location. Only downside is the single track road to get there which can be problematic when meeting other vehicles

The cottage was just so lovely and because we came in the Autumn the surrounding area was spectacular. Mel was so accommodating and went over and above which was appreciated. I highly recommend this cottage and will hopefully be back soon.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage. It was clean, comfortable and well provisioned. There were lots of leaflets left of local places to explore and activities, which we found very helpful. The hot tub was fabulous! Mel was very welcoming and even provided some fresh milk, eggs and a bottle of wine. Would highly recommend.

We had such an amazing time. The cottage is of the highest standard and well equipped for two people. The hot tub was great to come back to after a day of sightseeing. Just perfect.
