Enjoy stunning views from the living/dining area of the Hall, its grounds and the countryside beyond. The shared garden has an oak canopy on the decked area with teak garden furniture. This detached holiday home is close to the stunning beaches of Cayton Bay which is ideal for surfing, and has plenty of shops, elegant Scarborough, with harbour, beaches, cafes, amusements, arcades, theatres, parks and 12th-century castle ruins, or the small seaside town of Filey. Just over an hour’s drive away is the old smuggling village of Robin Hood’s Bay - step back in time and explore the tumbling fishermen’s cottages which line the cobbled streets all the way down to the sandy beach. Just a little further afield is the historic port of Whitby - famed for its connections with Captain James Cook and Dracula. It also boasts a 3-mile stretch of award-winning sandy beach. Visit the spa town of Harrogate with its RHS Harlow Carr gardens and Betty’s Tea room which is a must, and the walled city of York with attractions for all the family including the Castle Museum, Yorkshire Museum, Jorvik Viking Centre, the York Art Gallery, Richard III Museum, the National Railway Museum and the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall.
