    The apartment is perfectly located in the heart of Buxton with views of the Old Hall Hotel, the Devonshire Dome (now part of the University of Derby) and the Palace Hotel. It is like staying with a much respected great aunt as there is a lot of furniture and ornaments. However, like some older properties, it could do with an upgrade, especially the bathroom and kitchen. Despite this, it is comfortable and the chair placed by the large lounge windows allows you to spend a lot of time watching the people of Buxton come and go. Also, there aren't many holiday properties where you can sleep in a 6 foot 4 poster bed.

    The apartment was far more spacious than we expected and beautifully furnished throughout. The location is right in the centre of Buxton, about 100yards from the opera House, with panoramic views of the gardens. Highly recommended

    The apartment is in a great location and is comfortable. The cleaner has an impossible job due to all the antique ornaments, chandeliers etc. that need dusting.The kitchen, though small is well equipped. The views over the Pavilion Gardens are perfect. The bathroom could do with updating. We would stay again because of locality.
