Hoseasons "This Tudor house makes a great base to explore all that Yorkshire has to offer.\nGround floor\nLiving room 1 \nWith wood burner 40’’ Freeview TV and beams.\n\nLiving room 2 \nWith electric fire and 32’’ Freeview TV.\n\nKitchendining room\n Farmhouse style with electric oven electric hob microwave fridgefreezer dishwasher washing machione and beams.\n\nBedroom 1 \nWith twin beds French doors leading to garden and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.\n\nSeparate toilet.\n\n\nFirst floor\nBedroom 2 \nWith double bed beams and en-suite with shower cubicle.\n\nBedroom 3 \nWith double bed and beams.\n\nBedroom 4 \nWith twin beds. \n Gas central heating electricity bed linen towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Large lawned garden with patio garden furniture and BBQ. 2 dogs welcome to be kept on a lead at all times. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.\n This Tudor terraced house is the oldest property in Easingwold dating back to the 16th-century and despite many renovations over the years has retained most of its original features with inglenook fireplaces one with a wood burner in each living room beams everywhere you look and wattle and daub in one of the bedrooms. The master bed room retains the Elizabethan smoke hood from the inglenook below which makes an unusual yet stunning feature in the room. Yet with all this history on hand the historical features are complemented by the modern comforts expected in a holiday home. On entering the property via the rear garden the modern extension houses the large dining room which will comfortably seat eight persons and with the large kitchen just next door this is the perfect area to relax and socialize with friends and family after a long day exploring the local area. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with en-suite and patio doors to the garden and two living rooms. The rest of the bedrooms and house bathroom are on the first floor and offer a mixture of twin and double accommodation with the master having a small en-suite shower.\nEasingwold is one of Yorkshires finest market towns with the historic cobbled market square at its centre. Offering independent shops and a host of tea rooms and eateries within walking distance of the property. Only a 10-minute drive away is the small town of Thirsk gateway to the Dales and home to the James Herriot Museum. Tudor House is the ideal base to explore the Yorkshire Dales and visit the historic towns of York Helmsley and Harrogate famous for its spa and beautiful valley gardens. The North York Moors and the seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough are also within travelling distance and there are excellent walking opportunities with miles of public paths and bridleways on the door step with panoramic views from Sutton Bank and the White Horse at Kilburn. Tudor House offers a wide choice of actives for all the family to enjoy. Shop pub and restaurant 300 yards. \n " https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/106/840/10644507.jpg UKC3882

A great location. Kitchen very well equipped and having two living rooms and seating in dining area was great. Curtains all very thin so needed sleeping masks. Owners nearby and were very helpful. Lovely big garden.

Lovely cottage but the high chair was filthy - had to give it a good scrub before my granddaughter arrived. Had a problem with the oven (my ignorance) and dishwasher wouldn’t work - owners came round immediately and explained oven and replaced dishwasher.

A truly unique base for our holiday! Tudor House is spacious and comfortably furnished, with everything one could wish for. Easingwold is delightful and we were made very welcome by the neighbours. We had a great time.

A superb house , very comfy . very nice stay

We really enjoyed our holiday. There were some little niggles, like the water temperature in the shower and a very creaky bed; it's a tiny bit run down but we actually loved it for it's worn condition and will definitely return although better double beds would be a great investment.

We spent a wonderful time in Tudor Cottage, which is superbly located to visit York and its surroundings. The house has many nooks and crannies and is a dream for children, and for playing hide and seek. We very much enjoyed the open fire and the large kitchen. The owners are helpful and we appreciated the welcome gift! The village of Easingwold has lovely shops and cafes and there are supermarkets within driving distance. Tudor Cottage has three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite, which is ideal if you are staying with two families (as we did), allowing some privacy for the adults. Another great feature for the same reason are the two living rooms. We went for walks from the doorstep as well as a great beach walk between Sandsend and Whitby, which is fab for fish and chips. It's also close to the North York Moors National Park for great walks there. Would definitely go back, very highly recommended.
