    This great detached property is ideally located to explore all that south Wales has to offer. Situated in the village of Garnant, it is just 4 miles from the town of Ammanford, 10 miles from Llandeilo and 15 miles from the coastal city of Swansea, leading to the Gower peninsula. Good walks in the area, 200 yards to join the ‘Golwg yr Aman’ river valley walk/cycleway from Brynamman to Ammanford, and 700 yards into countryside of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The area is rich in natural wildlife and industrial heritage. There are plenty of sites to see and enjoy including the wooded Amman valley, the stunning views from ‘tro’r gwcw’ near Brynamman over to the local castle ‘Carreg Cennen’ to the north and the cascading water at Four Waterfalls Ystradfellte to the east. Or take a hike or a bike ride in Llyn Llech Owain Country Park to the west and roam the 158-acre park of woods, lakes and forest tracks. The more adventurous will also enjoy the rough mountain trails. For a great day out for the whole family, enjoy a trip to The National Show Caves Centre at Dan yr Ogof. After a busy day, return to Ty Draw to relax in the lovely enclosed garden to the rear of the property and watch the sun go down. Beach 20 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 700 yards.

    We were disappointed with this property for a number of reasons, namely : driveway is extremely narrow where all occupants have to exit the vehicle roadside before parking as you cannot exit both sides when parked. Front door hanging on 1 hinge and couldn't be used. Horrendous damp smell in front snug. Dated property and equipment though clean overall. Chopping board in kitchen ideal height for animals to lick /brush past. Shower tiles at base are mouldy. Shower trap partly blocked with hair and mouldy. Dangerous wooden chair in bedroom. Garden unsafe for children with sharp thistles, thorned plants, greenhouse with glass missing. Noisy neighbours playing loud music outside during daytime. No front of house photo on website which would have deterred booking. Overall this property needs a full overhaul in our opinion.

    its a great place to stay, its clean, but a bit dated. the sofas were not very comfy, the beds were very comfy though. But one of the living rooms smelt musky so we didn't use it. But it was in a great location to get to beaches and lakes/waterfalls etc alike. The car space was limited because the running between the house and the wall was very narrow. apart from that, it was great.

    Clean, comfortable house with good sized enclosed garden for the dogs. Well equipped and close to local shop, pub and takeway. Nice walks close by.

    I would recommend this property, it's very spacious, has two living rooms with 2 large tvs which I like, nothing worse than a wee TV with poor eyesight , it's well equipped plenty of cooking utensils, large garden, the dog enjoyed this particularly, nice walks by the river, a good pub with food the Raven dogs allowed in garden only but 3 miles up the road the derlwyn at brynamann takes dogs inside and serves good food there is a shop in the village and pharmacy 4 miles on in ammanford there is a tesco and lidl's,

    This is our second stay at Ty Draw as we find the location and comfort of the house ideal. There is plenty of walking from the house and a very short drive away you are in the Brecon Beacons. The house has a very large kitchen which we find beneficial as we like to sit in there to watch our dog play in the garden. Since our last visit there has been more bins provided which was great and useful. The bedrooms are very large and very warm and the beds are comfy so we got a good night sleep after our days out walking. We would definitely recommend Ty Draw to anyone who enjoys walking and it is perfect if you have a four legged friend as the garden is great for them.
