Beaumaris Castle, a little bit further afield but well worth the visit, Beaumaris Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most impressive castles in Wales. It’s a great place to explore history and enjoy panoramic views of the Menai Strait. Plas Newydd House and Gardens, on the opposite side of the Menai Strait, is a National Trust property with beautiful gardens, woodland walks, and a historic house with an impressive art collection.
