This superb first and second floor maisonette, situated in a traditional Edwardian property, is close to the centre of the unspoilt seaside town of Filey, yet tucked away in a delightful, quiet back street which leads straight down to the sea front. There is parking for one car, and additional free roadside parking. Restaurants, shops and the beach are all just a short stroll away, which makes this lovely property the perfect place to stay for a traditional seaside holiday, both for the active and for those seeking a peaceful retreat. Filey has a 5 mile stretch of award-winning golden sands, ideal for families, and the donkey rides are always a big hit with the children. The beautiful long promenade and the award-winning gardens are the perfect place to walk, or just to sit and admire the outstanding views. To the north of the bay is the start (or end) of the 110 mile Cleveland Way and The Brigg, which is the perfect place for rock pooling and for those who enjoy fishing. To the south, are the magnificent Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs, a RSPB nature reserve which is perfect for watching and photographing a wide range of sea life, including puffin. For the golfer, there is Filey Golf Club just over ½ mile away, said to be one of the finest courses in Yorkshire. For those who surf, Reighton Sands, Hunmanby Gap and Cayton Bay can provide good waves, whilst Scarborough Surf School caters for those want to give it a try. With a wide range of places to visit, including Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington, together with the Yorkshire Moors National Park, there is no shortage of activities for all the family.
