No smoking.\n A spacious well appointed and privately situated detached bungalow in the grounds of the caravan club site near Tintagel. With a secluded garden the property is perfect for the larger party seeking to explore rugged North Cornwall. King Arthur’s castle at Tintagel is 4 miles and the quaint fishing villages of Padstow Boscastle and Port Isaac are a must while the nearby South West Coastal Path passes through some of the most dramatic scenery of its route. Bodmin Moor the Wenford Steam Railway and the Camel Trail cycle and footpath are all within easy reach.     After 17+ years going to this bungalow, this has been the worst ever for cleanliness and equipment, we had problems with dust ingrained into the carpets particularly in the twin room, I had to move from this room to the next door double room even thoughly hoovering and Fabreezing the carpet even under the beds made little difference. The refurbished Bathroom was much needed but for up to ten people it now only has one basin instead of two, and the bathroom isn't homely now more industrial and cold to me. All this said there is also a hole in the rotten wood in the front door surround big enough for a mouse to enter, I brought these items to the attention of the wardens.... Apart from these issues we love going to this bungalow it is a home from home for us, the site is quiet and the views are good I would recommend it and hopefully the faults will be rectified soon, we have booked for next year already....

    Absolutely love bungalow very spacious plenty of room for the bigger family immaculate clean inside. I wish the site had something to do on It and more local shops other than that it was fantastic. Gerry and Ian who work on site were fantastic and very understanding and helpful.

    Nice, quiet location. Group of 4 adults, 4 children and 1 baby and all felt we had plenty of living space. Nice and clean on arrival. Perfect base for travelling Cornwall. 2 parking spaces which is brilliant as have had to use public car parks in the past. The main bathroom has been upgraded since the pictures that are posted. Only recommendation would be for a sink in the small bathroom.

    Although some updating has been done there’s quite a bit still to do it needs a wash basin in the bedroom with the shower in as it’s quite a struggle when nine of you need to clean your teeth. Overall the bungalow is a good size for family get togethers nice size garden but not secure for small children or dogs

    We were very disappointed with our visit to Valley Truckle Bungalow this time, first of all the Bathroom has been changed not for the better there is sharp corners on the bath that you could catch yourself on, no where to put anything like soap toothbrushes flannels etc,we had to put our things on the windowsill the work in there is very shoddy looks awful, the only light in the bathroom decided not to work half through our holiday then the towel rail fell off the wall, the programmes that you can get on the televison are rubbish the television stand is falling to bits we had to jam paper in between the draws to keep them shut and in one of the bedrooms ther is no plug near the bed to plug a light in and the lights over the beds only work if you bang them
